Since my last post about the power of lemons I’ve been secretly obsessed with finding homemade alternatives to skincare products. Apple Cider Vinegar is definitely on the top 10 list for homemade alternatives and here’s why:
1. It help fight acne, blemishes and pimples
There is malic acid in ACV making it a potent antibacterial and anti fungal product, capable of keeping the bacteria and pimples on your face at bay. Mix some water and ACV and apply on the desired areas. The more power you want the solution, the more Apple Cider Vinegar you add.
2. It can work as great toner
Apple Cider Vinegar can help remove the excess oils from your skin and also help balance your pH levels too, this will help your skin from becoming too dry of too oily. Just rinse your face with water and ACV daily! I’ve decided to bottle my solution to save me time in the morning!
3. It helps combat fine lines and wrinkles
This miracle product can also help minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, just dilute ACV with water and apply on the desired areas
4. It can help you lose weight?!
This one doesn’t relate to skin but I thought it was quite interesting! ACV vinegar lowers your blood sugar levels (making it great for diabetes too) so people have claimed it reduces cravings, helping you eat fewer calories throughout the day
Has anyone given these a try? Let me know which one you find most interesting!
